Brass

We partnered with our friends at Inventery to make special edition Ugmonk Bolt Action Pens.

Each pen is precision-machined from raw brass stock using a single tungsten blade. The Ugmonk logo is diamond-etched on the metal clip. The bolt action mechanism allows you to quickly click the pen in and out with either hand and creates an audible snap.

The Schmidt P8126 Capless System roller ball refill is a favorite among pen enthusiasts. The 0.6mm stainless steel fine tip allows the quick-drying liquid ink to flow smoothly on the page.

INVENTERY Fine Writing Instruments are covered by a lifetime warranty and guarantee against all mechanical failure and defects in materials or workmanship.

Solid and writes nice

It's got a nice heft to it, and writes very well. Feels solid and I think it will last a long time. The only downside might be that I think brass can smell a bit after handling it.

Great pen

I have issues with pens as a left handed person but have only found this to only write “dry” marks on rare occasions. After a week of heavy drawing and writing I found the sheen and gloss of the brass fade. To some this might be a nice patina and wear but I wasn’t a fan. Fortunately I have brass and silver polish that cleaned it up and looking like new. Outside the quick patina and the feeling the bolt action was designed for right handed folks (which I’ve naturally had to adapt to in my life), this is by far one of my favorite pen purchases ever.
