Using this pen is great. The weight of it is substantial and very relaxing to handle, even when not writing.

I recently started a small pen collection thanks to the Pen Addict. This bolt action pen is the latest addition. This thing is very well crafted, elegant, and durable. With the use of standard refills this will last several generations!

I'm a lefty that's tried just about every pen out there (it feels like) and I'm constantly smearing, smudging text. This pen is great - superb craftsmanship, quick drying ink, and the bolt action is definitely satisfying and fun. The pen is very high quality. Only thing holding me back from giving it 5 stars is the weight. I assumed it would be a bit on the heavier side due to the material and the bolt action, but this is a heavy pen (and I'm a large man). Not a defect or a concern at all, just a heads up for those that might not be used to writing with such a sturdy, heavy pen!

A good pen makes it fun to write. A great pen makes it an experience. To qualify to be a great pen takes weight, balance, texture, looks, practicality and, of course, it needs to be superior in the category of writability. The Ugmonk Bolt Action Pen passes all with flying colors. I bought a Pilot G2 bold refill and it’s smooth and graphic.

Never bought an expensive pen before but I loved the look of this and the “click” mechanism. Also came with an ink refill. Writes so smooth and no left-hand ink smudge.
